Whoopi is the moderator, the same position Meredith Vieira used to have. There are some things she has to say. Those are on a teleprompter. Her opinions are hers. The thing that bothers me is that Joy's ad lib jokes that she tosses off so glibly are fed to her by the show's writers and given to her before the show.
