Feral animals are not domesticated and therefore do not trust humans. They fend for themselves, and must find their own food and water. Domestic pets are fed and takn care of and supplied food. Although, if you took a dog and let it go, it may learn to fend for itself and become feral.Feral animals do not rely on humans and do not like human contact, obviously domestic animals do lol. Feral animals get diseases and often die fromt ehm ,as they do not have an owner to keep them up on vaccinations. Feral animals can live wherever and adapt to their environment. They can live in alleys, in garbage, in old cars in junk yards etc. Feral animals will often attack a human when approached, but not always. Cats can become feral and will not come up to any one and prefer to stay alone.

You'd expect a feral domestic animal to run and hide from humans, while a domestic situation animal would be much more friendly toward humans (although my domestic cat runs from everyone except me).
