How much is a doctor's office visit in USA?
How much is a simple visit in a General Practitioner office in USA for a prescription? Also, how much would a visit to a General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner in a Doc in a Box type setting such as a Wal-Mart clinic? This would be for a prescription for something that I needed.
This excludes the price of the prescription. I am curious, because I had to go to a doctor today to get some medicine today here in Canada, and I am curious to what sort of billing would I have generated on myself today IF I had been in USA.

$150 is the minimum for a primary care doctor in private practice in an urban area. It is cheaper in the poorer states. The prices vary greatly. Walmart does not have doctors, not in my state. I have never heard of Walmart having a clinic anywhere. You can also go to a county or city clinic for less money and wait to see someone. When you get a generic prescription you can fill it at Walmart cheaply.

It was $65.00 for a routine visit @ a Wal-Mart doctor. That is with NO insurance coverage.
