Why did my treatment fail?
I was operated on for Prostaye Cancer in 2008.I had the da Vincci method Robot treatment. My Urologist said he removed it all. In less than 30 days my PSA was. 3.7. I should have been no more than 0.9. In 90 days I start on Hormone shots which I understand have severe side affects. The medication is Lupron injection each 90 days. Avadart is another injection he refuses to use. Why? My latest PSA is 7.4 higher than when I was operated on. I was told it was a recurring cancer. I disagreed as it is impossible for that big of chance in 90 days. In essence tissue was left behinf and not I was told it probably is in my Nodes. I am hacing problems getting my treatment plan. I do know radiation is out of the question at this stage. What can thery radiate as I have no gland. He sasid zI could live 10 or even 15 more years; however I told the good Dr. that you mean with cancer cells running through my body, cancer in the Nodes I can live that long. Totally impossible I told him.. The Dr. that did the operation has left this facility and went into private practice, as did my other Urologist. What do I need to ask when I go back in February, and why the wait for treatment?

it's my understanding that once the prostate is removed that you can no longer climax. if i were you i would already be dead, i think that is the reason that so many men die from prostate Cancer. not that they don't know just that they would rather die then loose there manhood
that said if i were you i would do a whole bunch of crazy stuff. maybe Niagara falls on a jetski with a paricutee , or mabey buy a bas a.s.s. sports car and get into a high speed police chase!

Your question would fit much better under "Men's Health" than in history.
That said, rather than follow potential advice to commit an illegal act, you may well be better off to try to connect with the clinic where you have been getting your treatment.
My spouse (we live in Canada) has been under constant surveillance since a first bout with cancer over twenty years ago. We hear all about the faults of Canada's health system and there are major reasons for more complaints in the province where we reside, and yet that person gets to see a specialist several times a year. You pay directly (or your private insurer does) and yet you get nowhere near the same care.
Yes, there is, indeed, something wrong.
When a public health system is in place it actually saves the economy rather than make it worse. Public health care means fewer people take fewer sick/surgery-related days off from work. This raises longevity of life and productivity at work. I have not even mentioned over-all lifestyle.
You are in our thoughts.
Apologies, I forgot to mention there is also a form of 'sexism' involved here, women are far more likely to get better treatment for cancer related to reproductive organs than are men. The medical field is learning but there is a long way to go.
