There's not as much a "cure" meaning you can take it for a time and stop taking it, but it's more of a lifestyle change. If you have a lot of stress that is bringing your blood pressure up, deal with the stress; if you don't have a healthy diet (eg. too much salt), eat healthier; if you have a family history of high blood pressure, it may be genetics and you might need to take something for it (although it doesn't have to be a drug).

The generic "quick fixes" would be the obvious things like exercising more, reduce your salt intake (although the proper balance of Potassium to Sodium is looking like a better option instead of avoiding Sodium... you can talk to your doctor about that if you need to), etc. In addition to those suggestions, there are some natural products that are very beneficial for Blood Pressure. The most popular ones are Fish Oil, Hawthorn Berries, L-Arginine, Resveratrol (which is in Red Wine), C12 Peptides (from milk protein casein), Bonito Peptides, and Garlic. You can easily get some of those by adding them to your diet (eg. more Garlic and fish, but limit the whole fish intake because of the Mercury content), but most of them aren't as abundant in the dietary options so they may need to be in supplements. Good luck and I hope I helped!

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.
