Are any of the GOP candidates capable of beating Obama?

Just a bunch of flip floppers, talking points, ignorance of foreign affairs, ignorance of own policies. Who of these candidates stands any chance at taking out (what should be an easily defeatable) Obama?

Update:

Durbin: I did not vote for Obama and am not liberal. Stop jumping to conclusions and start using your brain.

Update 2:

Durbin: Neither am I "giving up", I am asking for input. It is common among people who have the ability to think critically.

Update 3:

Jaime - your thought process is frightening. For you to think "any retard" could beat Obama while simultaneously thinking that it would be easy for "any retard" to do so are antithetical views. Further, your unsupported and uncalled for suggestion of race bolsters the fact that you seem as though you are very, very young/naive or you wear one hell of a tin foil hat.

Maybe Romney, the RINO. However, Gingrich is very qualified but it's still really early. Newt is Intelligent and experienced but he has baggage.

Cain is damaged due to the media. Perry is a joke. Paul is a bigger joke! Bachmann & the others can't win.

In any case, we MUST fire Barry!

Good question and as of yet there aren't any. But I get the feeling from the above comments that some are willing to put any retard just to defeat Obama which does not make sense. If he is so hard to beat it's because no one is better or smarter. So why would you want a dumb president or is it just so he is white?

Rather than state an opinion as all the other respondents have, it is better to state statistical fact. That fact is that polls show that ANY republican would win against Obama by a margin of 47% vs 39%.

    Ron Paul

While I agree the GOP lineup looks weak, you shouldn't generalize all of them. For example, look at Ron Paul's voting history and political positions; he hasn't wavered or flip flopped once in his career as a congressman. As for Obama, his days are numbered. You can't spend like there is no tomorrow and tack on 5 trillion to the national debt in just over three years and expect people to ignore that.

In all seriousness, only Romney has a realistic chance. All the other candidates come with too much baggage (I'm looking at you Newt!) or are just increasingly unpopular / loopy.

I think in an Obama / Romney race it'll largely come down to who can make the best jabs during the debates. Both have had some "foot-in-mouth" moments. The first one to really land a good quip will get a big boost.

because of the fact maximum of them do no longer actual know what the heck they are speaking approximately lol..in case you watch the GOP Debates, they are fumbling, and forgetting their very own rules. Like, Rick Perry grew to become into speaking approximately removing 3 departments, and he did no longer have the slightest clue what the third one grew to become into. Herman Cain grew to become into asked approximately what he considered Obama's plan with Libya, and he grew to become into like "I disagree..wait, what's Obama doing there lower back?" Its transforming into extra of a contest, it particularly is why i do in comparison to our government anymore. they are not probably worrying approximately u . s . a . of america and the human beings :/

Sure, Obama can be beat. By "Republican candidate." The problem is that when that Republican candidate is named, voters find out something about him and he/she drops like a rock in the polls.

If Jesus Christ were a candidate, MAYBE he could satisfy Republicans....but maybe not either. They're really off the deep end this year.

You should rephrase the question. Can any of the GOP candidates tie thier own shoes?
