If an American moved to the UK 26 years ago and never left, would they be more British than me?

Lets say they were 24 when they moved to the UK, 26 years ago.

I was born 25 years ago. They have an extra year of Britain time than me...in fact I can't remember a lot of the first few years of my life so you could say thats even further in their favour.

We'll say they never went on holiday and as soon as they were eligible, they got UK citizenship.

I've been on holidays, but not for more than a week.....(irrelevant: ive been living in Germany for a month and will do until March)

Update:

Sorry Maggie, I should have clarified that both my parents are born British and so am I!

Neither they nor you are more British than the other, both would have to be naturalised. You were born after 1 January 1983 which means that you did not gain British citizenship by birth as neither of your parents were British or had indefinite leave to remain at the time of your birth. You would have no doubt been registered as British when they were naturalised. That means you all became British at the same time.
