Good creative software for imac with Snow leapard?
A friend recently got an imac with Snow Leapard as the OS. What is a good artistic-type software program, something like Illustrator or Lightroom, that costs less than $100 but works well with Snow Leapord?

You could try 3d Studio Max... Wait that's for PC
Try Armageddon... Wait that's for PC
Try Vegas (by sony) ... wait that's for PC too..
Hmm it seems like we're developing a pattern here. Perhaps the question should be what computer runs the best software.
I am sure there are some out there some where. Vegas may even come in a Mac format so look into that. Honestly, your best bet is to lose the MAC OS and drop Windows on it and then you will be able to use all the software in the world. See that's the problem with MAC's, everyone is moving away from them because well, there's just not enough supporting applications. The vast majority of the world uses Windows operating systems and as such, that's the first platform Applications will be made for.
But again you may wanna research Vegas and see if it DOES come in a mac format.
