Brownies from cake mix that come out like brownies, not cake?
I tried the recipe that is all over the net in millions of places with the 1 stick of melted margarine and the 2 eggs. It came out cake consistency.
Has anyone actually made brownies from a box of cake mix and actually got the batter to be thick brownie consistency resulting in brownies and not cake? If so, please share the recipe in detail.
THANK YOU.

When using a cake mix to make brownies, the most common mistake is to bake them too long. The longer you bake them, the more cake-like they become. Interestingly, I was just reading about this a few days ago, but I can't remember which cookbook I have that actually had the info.
