Why do so many women believe that women are just as strong as men?

honestly its that whole "everyone is equal" bs. are SOME just as strong and just as good troops? yes but its far from the majority.

there definately is a double standard as far as physical standards go though.

just to prove a point, I was in the EO class in 82nd repo and the EO rep was trying to prove a point. He had a male soldier and a female soldier stand up and asked what the difference was. after he told a few soldiers who answered that they were wrong he stated "there is no difference, they are both green." i raised my hand and said "with all due respect sergeant i believe there is a difference... that soldier has to run faster and do more pushups than that one." he didnt know what to say.

REALITY CHECK : woww you are dumber then most, women are allowed in combat but not MOS for obvious reasons

EDIT: the reason for the whole we are equal is because I'm not trying to be mean or anything but television, it very often portrays the life of a soldier wrong and women feel as though its just a fit camp.. what they don't understand is the actual responsibility a soldier takes on and its also the entire doesn't matter if I'm a man or a woman i know i can do good, and I'm completely for it but before you end up making a fool of yourself take an interest about it rather then just jumpin head first into a pool not knowing the actual depth. i am also a woman an i do plan on joining as a psychologist though. and its just another thing with woman that we always try to be independent until we understand that a functioning world is a balance of men and women some people come to this faster then other do though.

nicely think of roughly it. females in many circumstances do unlike adult men that are unemployed, obese, stay with their mothers, play video games, have a tiny penis and don't have an instruction. in actuality females, fairly the hardcore ones in this board, are condescending to adult men like this. I continuously hear comments like "adult men are terrified of knowledgeable empowered females". i assume this would carry actual for adult men that had what grew to become into seen the perfect lifestyles in the 1950's, yet i grew to become into born in the 80's. Why would I be terrified of what I grew up with? i've got seen business enterprise females, lady politicians and different females in positions of ability on account that i grew to become into born. That argument is relic leftover from a time that now no longer exists and easily does not carry water in the sought after international.

For example, as with yours, but not as bad. I was playing soccer, i got knocked out by the ball, and my head hit the goal bars (that are solid metal, so that probably didn't help) and i also found ouut later i smacked my knees on these goal bars, there were women medics present, the 2 came over, i came back to consciouness. Hurting like all hell in the face. They tried to lift me on a stretcher (i was like 6 lbs lighter than you are, with no gear). And they dropped me, then when i was walking, i had to mostly hop off, until my bro came on a carried me off cos the women couldn't do it.

Look at it this way. Physical standards for women compare to men of the same age group is way easier. Until women are held to the SAME standards as men, who the hell in their right mind would put them in a combat MOS? It's absolutely retarded to hold some group to a lower standard but push for that group to be allowed into a combat MOS.

Because of all the equality business. They think it should carry over to every aspect of life as if its the same as the right to vote or something.

I'm not saying women shouldn't have equal rights, I'm saying that in some situations equality is not possible because of biology and human nature.

I feel many of them really do not know what is required of us males. They feel we are just being sexists and holding them back.

I too have had my fair share of dealing with women in the military. And there are a few that give women a bad name, but they're are plenty who work their asses off

It has nothing to do with strength...I have seen female bodybuiders/soldiers, its our periods that keep us oit of his MOS dude. A male soldier can go to the field for 30 days doing a sponge bath, women cannot because of their monthly period. If you bled every month then I think you would understand!

I knew a CO that took his male and female unit into the muddy lake for PT, he also made them do a 12 miles ruck with 50 pounds in their ruck and you say women in a unit cannot keep up with men? Th's CO use to roll the unit in the mod for PT.
