Can lead in lead paint be absorbed through skin?

    Well sure when you're painting with it - but you can't even find any anymore. They used to have a lead paint called "One Shot" which was used for signs - OMG - it was such a perfect paint - but you could actually taste the lead in the air when you used it. It's since been banned.

    If you're taking it off a house, you can sure breathe it and get some lead - but I doubt it would go through your skin. Try not to lay down in a pile of it. However - you might think of using a mask. Actually it takes a hell of a lot of lead to do you much damage - years of it actually. If you smoke, you're actually doing yourself more damage than if you get some lead from time to time.

    I think it can be, but probably only when it's wet.
