Therapist - is ‘Change Of Use’ required to practice from home?
Hi I’m a Scottish therapist and see a few clients each week at home (in my lounge).
A local government Planning Officer told me that if I am bringing members of public into my house it I need to apply for a part change of use from Domestic to Business premises. This would not be the case in England. I don't feel that this is appropriate and wondered if any other Scottish therapists come across this difficulty?

Sorry, I'm not sure.. you will have to call your local authority that deals with these kinds of issues
