Theists: I know a lot of Atheists are seen as arrogant and rude?

..Well Im Jewish but.. I noticed people are always rude to Atheists.. Dont you think they have a reason to be rude back? Besides leave em alone they belive there is no g-d.. ( I think) So what? Let them live their life.

No of course its not unreasonable. I am a Christian and I believe that everyone should

be entitled to there own views, and I think its good to come on here and discuss

religion. But I must say that many atheists on here are just plain ignorant, they don't

make any valid points they are just insulting, of course not every atheist is like this

but the majority are. Now I'm not just pinning the blame on atheists there are religious

people who can start trouble too.

But I agree with you we should all be able to believe or not believe in what we want

without getting insulted.

EDIT, You're sexual orientation doesn't matter to me and I don't think that it would

really matter to God either. That is the one point of Christianity that is wrong, we

think God would judge someone on there sexual orientation. It's whats in you're

heart that really matters weather you are a good person that's what God judges people

on.

No of course not. There are some rude atheists and equally rude theists, its part of human nature. I have friends from many religions as well as atheist friends and none of them are rude or unkind people (which is why I chose them as friends obviously haha). Its not unreasonable to not want religion in government since we are not a theocracy- separation of church and state allows people of all beliefs to live together harmoniously :)

Its a stereotype. People like to think that because they don't believe in a god they are arrogant, science loving and rude. Its as much a religious belief as christianity but people think that they must be ignorant for not believing in an INVISIBLE man who is everywhere and is all loving. i think that some christians can be very rude but i have a best friend who is a christian and before he met me he thought all atheists were arrogant, rude horrible people.
