What I will never understand is the nasty looks black people shoot me every day. i live in a poor neighborhood around a lot of them and i plan to move later this year with my tax return. i don't have a lot but i fear for what i do have because people are robbed so often. i have seen so much hatred towards me because i am a white girl with blonde hair. i can not walk down the street without black men harassing me because they all seem to think all white women are whores. i'm sick of it. out of dozens of black people i have come to know in my life i am only close to a few. why? because they do not conform to the stereotypes of their race and earned my respect for that and i earned theirs by judging them on character and not skin color.

watching others have freedoms taken and suffer only because it keeps them more comfortable? pushing others down so they can live without their views being challenged? if they really have faith in their beliefs then why can't they take the comfort they need from that?

acer laptop and it has had lines in this area of the screen but applying a little pressure always removed them. now nothing will remove this pink line...moving the screen, running pixel repair programs, applying pressure, applying pressure when restarting the pc...

the computer is running fine and its more annoying then anything. i was wondering if anyone knows of a good free program or something that might fix it or something easy i could do.

And he is her kitten. 6 months old. Both cats are fixed/neutered....he tries to play or bathe her and she hisses and bites him. It has never happened before....it is strange and i'm worried she will hurt him.

when it is more commercial then anything anymore. to me it is about gifts and family. and don't they realize it is a PAGAN holiday that Christians re-named? that is where the tree and gifts come from they just added it being about Jesus being born. My basic thoughts are that religion makes you think that you are above everybody else because you possess the ultimate truth that there is a god, and you have a personal relationship with him so you KNOW what god wants so everything that you do is correct!

Christians will become hateful bigots when they think that everything they do is condoned by god when they believe that they have this relationship with him, and they don’t want to educate themselves about other beliefs or other kinds of people so ofc people are justified to say that Christians are mean when that’s what Christianity is all about!

SO they think they can tell us what we can and can't do.

But I'll do it anyway. Like every year.

I woke up this morning to a letter from my girlfriend's mother telling me she does not approve of our relationship and that she does not want to lose her daughter and that i should brake up with her. she said in the letter not to tell my gf she had sent it but i told her anyway because i wanted to talk to her about it and i always talk to her when there are problems going on. we are engaged! her mother thinks if we marry she will run off with me and forget about her and that is not that case! i love this girl very much and i don't want her to lose her family to be with me...i even thought about braking up with her because i don't want to come between her and her family. But i decided that we are very in love and we will marry and i am selfish and can't be without her. we talked and i feel better and she talked to her mom but i still feel bad about the whole situation and i don't know what to do.

any advice? i really don't want to hurt anyone.

its like you are afraid of someone using some rational thinking.

like when someone says God is a baby killer and he DID tell people to kill women, children, and babies along with the men of his enemies in the old testament they get a bunch of thumbs down...why? why does it hurt your feelings when someone tells the truth?

Why to people actually believe this is an issue? Why does it bother them that some people say "Happy Holidays"? Does it really matter? Why do I have to listen to these stupid pissed of bigots every year? Is ANYONE stopping them from saying "Marry Christmas" and why does it matter what other people say? Isn't new years right after Christmas so doesn't Happy Holidays make sense?

I think they might be throwing their games this year.

I have a laptop with 64-bit windows 7.

I use 3 programs.

Avast Home Edition (the free one)

Spybot Search and Destroy

and

Malware Bytes

I also keep the Windows Firewall on.

Should I add anything else? The only complaint I have is Avast seems to slow the boot up time by like 30 seconds but I can live with it as I use hibernate most of the time anyway. And it is free and seems to get the job done.

but do you theists believe we are all like that? I can be pretty rude if I am in a bad mood or the question asked is very insulting or stupid. I admit that. But I do try to be kind. I think we can all exist together. I just don't like religion in government and being told I can't do something that won't hurt anyone because "the bible says...." Is that unreasonable?

i never hear any good arguments as to why their God or Gods exist. and if you make a good point in a post they thumbs down you a lot...

we have been together for almost a year and while my sex drive is very high (i'm 23) hers is insane. (she is 25). i love her very much and we are engaged. no one has ever made me like this but at the same time i'm not sure if its normal.
