    "The US gov't is denying its citizens the same rights that it grants to other citizens."

    Name one U.S. state that grants some citizens the right to marry someone of the same sex while denying other citizens the same right.

    "Denying rights and benefits to some citizens that you grant to others is unequal, unconstitutional, and wrong."

    Then marriage benefits are unconstitutional and wrong, since they are granted only to married citizens and not single citizens.
