Why are People Rewriting Our History?
please read this wall o text before your reply otherwise i will ignore your reply
i have been browsing the questions here and have notice that the history some people are saying is different then when i was a kid, one person said jesus was muslim, the other said all or most of the founding fathers where atheist, another person quoted radio carbon dating as the primary source for why Christains are stupid and the world is old, which i have learned is highly unreliable (by a study made through fossils and bones that were made/ left by mt St. Helens) and has many assumptions made in radio carbon dating (such as the the amount of carbon( i think its carbon) originality in it). Someone also said that Christians changed all famous people to christian in the last ten years so they can post there ten commandments anywhere. another is that they hate people and are stupid, another is that atheism is the top religion in the united states(yes atheism is a religion).another is that the writing of the american constitution had nothing to do with the founding fathers belief in the bible and the concept they got from it( that all men where internally evil and that the government must be protected form mens internal evil) the final that i will state (because there are so many) is that the founding fathers founded america for freedom from religion, that is actually relativity new(they founded it for freedom of religion so that no one would be forced to have religion) so my question is, what is happening to our history, why is it being ignored rewritten or said to be changed from what it was origionaly(so it can be changed to what they want) and why because i dont get it, why not embrace our history instead of destroy/change it

I think you need to study some more history.
And archaeology.
And biology.
And basic grammar and punctuation.
Also, atheism is very much *not* a religion.

I didn't read the wall, but people rewrite history in order to support their agenda.
It was Winston Smith's job in "1984". Rewrite old newspapers to support Big Brother's propaganda.

I think your problem is that you're expecting things you find on Yahoo Answers to be trufax. Get you to the library and read some of those rectangular paper-filled things, and all will become clear. =)
EDIT: Oh right, I think they just decide how they want things to be for their own benefit, then cherry-pick the evidence out of context to support it. The opposite way around from how they should be doing it. I just don't think you should worry too much about people doing this on YA. There are lots of places for intelligent discussion, this really isn't one of them in any way.

"The propaganda of the victor becomes the history of the defeated" is one handy referance quote. History changes to suit the current powers. Now we are being taught completely different things than we were twenty years ago, the emphasis is on context, not fact. If facts can be changed ( they can be) they are. History is in the hands of those who teach.

The Founding Fathers were deists. Atheism isn't a religion and atheists are hardly a majority in the States.

In America we have freedom, a concept very foreign to christianity.

Saying Jesus was Muslim is like saying the founding fathers were Christian: A bunch of religious propaganda.

Your wall of test is just to horrible to decipher. Punctuation is there for a reason, it doesn't matter what you study if you can't make yourself understood.
