How to style straight across bangs...?

I recently got straight across bangs that fall just below my eyebrows. How can I style them so they don't get stringy or stick flat to my forehead? My hair type is wavy. I find that the bangs seem to not have a lot of volume at the top, and I just want them to look cute!

Any suggestions?

buy a round brush and blowdry from the top down (youtube it) which will give it volume and it wont sit against your head in matts.
