Soon, I am cutting my hair like Scarlett in this picture. My natural texture is pretty close to this picture, but my roots are never as voluminous as the bottom!!! How can I get voluminous roots like in this picture without blowdrying my hair straight and without backcombing it? (Which I've heard is very damaging to hair)

I am a singer and I recently developed bad pollen allergies. My head voice seems to have temporarily stopped working, and my low voice is very rocky as well. What can I do to gain it back other than allergy meds? Thanks!

I live in New Mexico and have been suffering from bad allergies for a few days. I went to the doctor because I wasn't sure if it was allergies or a cold, but he said it was because of allergies. He prescribed me Allegra allergy medicine and also cough medicine. I am a singer. I'm studying music education at a university, and I have to sing all the time. These allergies have greatly affected my singing. My voice is scratchy, and I can't hit all of the notes in my range. It's like my head voice doesn't exist. Do you think these pills will help clear me up and get my singing back to normal?

I had to get measured for a costume recently, and my bust measurement was 34", my waist was 28", and my hips/butt were 38".

Does this sound healthy? I am not terribly busty, but I tend to be described as curvy, yet thin. Are these measurements healthy, and are they found to be physically attractive?

My bust was 34 inches, my waist was 28 inches, and my hips/butt was 38 inches.

I've always been a fairly thin individual. I exercise a few times a week, and my diet isn't too bad, but I've been looking online, and it seems like my hip size should be about two inches smaller for my build. Does it seem that I'm unhealthy? I don't think anyone would say that I have any weight to lose. I'm 5'8"ish and a little over 125 pounds.

Do I seem healthy??

I recently got straight across bangs that fall just below my eyebrows. How can I style them so they don't get stringy or stick flat to my forehead? My hair type is wavy. I find that the bangs seem to not have a lot of volume at the top, and I just want them to look cute!

I'm 15, and it seems like so many guys are so shallow.

One of my friends that's a guy always teases me about having a small chest (I wear a B)

and it really gets to me.

My boyfriend assures me he likes me exactly as I am.

I just don't feel comfortable with my body.

I asked a couple guys, and they all said that the boobs were one of the first things they noticed about a girl.

Are boobs really that important?? If a girl has a pretty face and an overall nice body, with small boobs does that bug most guys??

Guys can be very confusing!

I've been friends with this guy for about a year. We've recently developed attractions to each other and been hanging out a lot. We haven't hooked up or anything but I guess you could call our hanging out "dates".

He recently explained to me the reason he hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet.

When we first met I had a boyfriend and he liked me a lot but he controlled his feelings for me since I was already taken and then labeled me as just a "friend".

Now we can really get to know each other and he is so used to that friend label that he has a hard time seeing me any other way. He did say he wants to be in a relationship with me though. He has also said lots of sweet things to me..

Should I take this explanation as a hint to move on? should I be patient because he'll probably ask me out once we've hung out a little more?

Let's title 3 guys- Joe, Bob, and Daniel.

I had liked this guy Joe for quite awhile. He ALWAYS flirted with me and we were neighbors and good friends. When the opportunity came around that we could be together, he told a good friend of mine that he was going to ask me out on a date. He also liked 2 other girls. He was going to ask the 3 of us out on casual dates and decide what to do.

Then he stopped liking me. I was really kind of hurt. A few days later, Bob asked me out on a date. He was a nice guy who I'd never given much thought to. The movie went well, and then he asked me out again that weekend. We had a really good time! He said he wanted to go out on another date.

Then about 2 weeks later he just stopped talking to me. When I saw him he wouldn't even say hi. I was starting to wonder what was wrong with me.

Then Daniel came along. He had been my good friend for about a year. His brother is also one of my good friends.

Daniel asked me to hang out on new years eve.

He even wanted to go to a park with me a lay out a blanket. We hung out again after the first time and had a really good time. We recently hung out AGAIN and his brother said he had been planning on asking me out... but was nervous. But he also said he doesn't "like me much and only sees us as friends".

His brother has been kind of dramatic before. Should I trust these things?? I want to talk to him (Daniel) but I'm nervous about it...

My boyfriend of two years and 8 months and I just broke up a week ago... I'm only 15 and I felt so young to be tied down in something like that. Not to mention we never went anywhere together (we hadn't gone on a date in about 8 months) and it wasn't only because we didn't have any time. I felt like we were more like friends and I had growing feelings for a good guy friend of mine. (not intentionally).

The break up was more of my initiation but he understood, but still doesn't wanna be friends right now.

So this guy that I like right now and have liked for awhile is awesome. He's super attractive, really funny and fun, and religious. Plus, he likes me. He lives down the street from me and we're in varsity choir together so we'll be going to spring trip and All state together.

It's his birthday soon so I'm taking him to the Trans Siberian Orchestra! He's been wanting to see them for awhile and it's on his birthday. Plus, I had an extra ticket.!

It'll be a lot of fun. I can't wait. I guess you could call it our first "date" except my family is there.

I know he likes me and wants to date me but he likes a few other girls too and it's soon after we broke up.
