I could find more but you get the point.

Question is: Has your opinion of Luongo changed since he signed that contract?

WHAT!? They all must be out of their minds. Hockey is not the sport for a contract that long. WAAAAAY too much can happen. But more power to them....

No, my opinion of Luongo hasn't changed. I still think he's a talented (though egotistical and somewhat "needy") goalie who the Nucks are lucky to have--for now. As me in 2021 or whenever and they may not be so lucky to have him--but you never know. hahahah

I'll start off by saying that I despise those long contracts. In my opinion, 5 years should be the max for a big contract like that. These 10-11 year contracts are just ridiculous. As for Lu's play, I wouldn't say he is papst his prime at all. Lu is still a great goaltender who just unfortunately has issues with confidence and cares way too much about what others think. The backlash from the cup loss is hurting his confidence big time but I think this threat of losing his job to Schneider is going to ignite a fire in ol' Bobby Lu to start playing like he knows he can. I also want to add that it annoys me that Lu takes all the blame for the cup loss (Yes he had some horrible games, but he also had some Great ones) but there were a certain set of brothers that didn't give him a whole lot of offencive support either

Luongo past his prime???? NO WAY. He took the canucks to the finals, he is due for a ring this year GUARANTEED!

I'm not a Canucks fan either.
