Would God still be God if He were not quite so righteous?
Sin is a rejection of God, and many ask the question that if God were so loving, then wouldn't He just overlook our sins?
The question then becomes, if He did overlook our sins, would He still be God? Would that invalidate His perfection and righteousness?

I have noticed that those who start a post with those words usually haven't read it and only are capable of spouting dribble they have picked up off a website somewhere. The Bible is full of history and yes, that history does record some pretty rough stuff. But I challenge you to cite a reference where God is "cruel" or "a tyrant"
"." You couldn't be more wrong. Sin does mean far more than just to "miss the mark". It means explicitly to reject God. A stumbling child is not sinning. Sin requires a conscious choice. It can not be committed out of ignorance or accident. Beyond that, the rest of your post is moot.
