what woulds you do concerning your parents?

Ok so I am a 36 yr old with two kids. My parents live close by and never really have paid much attention to my kids except for when it is convient for them. They have missed birthdays christmas etc. whe htey do come around my kids are happy and enjoy the time with them.I never said anything to them about coming around on occasion.

well my parents have a major gambeling problem and love to hit the casinos and beg me for money and have stolen from me & my sisters many many times. they won 150,000 and never gave any of us a dime! in fact they owe us & I continued not to say a word. So they reunited with a cousin of my fathers recently who loves to gamble and drink etc. and my mother & father are OBSESSED with this man all they ever talks about is him so I just laughed it off. Well there was an emergency in my home with my husband so I asked them to come & stay with my 13 & 14yr olds while I took my husband to the nearest hospital. when i got home they were like its about time i have been here too long Tommy (the cousin) cant get in touch with me here. so they hurried out.I didnt say a word

When they left my daughter said they were on the phone the WHOLE time complaining they have S#$T to do & that your parents better hurry up. The kids felt bad & it was obvious.

A few days later my husband had a follow up appt & the kids wanted to stay at their grand parents even though the made them feel that way a few nights ago (we do not have any other family here) & my mother said no we have Tommy coming over for the night & staying with us for thanksgiving so no they cant. I said thats okay & id talk to her when I got home I was just trying to be nice. Well she called back several hours later & said yeah the kids could stay because Tommy is not coming because of a snow storm. I hollered to the kids while I was ion the phone & they said no we dont want to stay because Papa & her always has to ask Tommy first & they never even came down for xmas last year because Tommy couldnt drink beer at our house & they always so no to us because of him so no we wont ask anymore so no forget it. Well my mother said I was a B%^&H & my father started yelling at me in the back round saing I told the kids to say it & I never did.

Well they havent called here in days & the kids called them & left messages on Thanksgiving for them to call back & my parents never called them. I feel so bad for my kids! I do not know what to do! Their cousins (my neices & nephews) are treated the same way as my kids as well. I feel sooo bad I caught my son crying lastnite in bed this really hurts what do I do as a mom?
