Atheists, do you really think the world revolves around you?
"I believe the Lord God creator of everything and everyone made this wonderful universe perfectly attuned for us to live in. He gave us plants for us to eat and animals for us to name and eat and control. He told us to go forth and multiply so that we may have dominion over the earth he made for us! He calls us the chosen people and he wants us to be with Him in heaven for eternity where we will be with our family and friends. He sent His son down here and His son gave up his life for our sins so we can go to heaven! Don't you atheists get that? God, the most perfect being, gave up his life for OUR SINS! Why would He do all this for us? The very simple reason is that GOD LOVES US. Why are you so arrogant and thinking nothing is bigger than you, it makes no sense at all for you to deny it."
@Jane, no we're supposed to show them how much God loves them.

I think most atheists know that the world revolves around the sun. Given some of the postings on this site, which show a great lack of scientific understanding on their part, I am not sure the same may be said of many Christian fundamentalists.

HYPOCRITE! You say Atheists think the world revolves around us (even though we don't) yet you say plants and animals were "put here" just to sustain mankind? Why do you think the whole world revolves around Christianity? Btw Atheists disagree with EVERY religion, not just yours.
And your arguments mean absolutely nothing to people don't believe in God to begin with. I hate to burst your egocentric bubble.
@your add. details: How are your ranting and insults gonna make me feel like God loves me? Again, you are a hypocrite.

Nope, but in the galactic scheme being off by just a mere 4,000 miles is close enough.
On the other hand, way back when I was a Christian they told me the entire universe was made just for me and those that believed the same thing I did, and that the most powerful thing imaginable had my best interests as one of his primary concerns. Can you imagine anyone being so self-centered that they could keep believing that as an adult?

No Im pretty sure the World revolves around Christianity with you guys putting up your billboards, protesting gay pride celebrations , always being on the news, trying to get a say in our government, causing wars, even actually getting people to succeed in suicide because you bugged them so much for being different

No, I think the world revolves on its axis around a sun, which revolves around Galactic Central Point.

Atheists aren't self centered. They just do not believe in an higher spiritual conscience that exists on some other plane or dimension and that no one can understand or will ever be able to understand. sorry that we value knowledge and reason,

No, it revolves around the sun actually.
Making me even more irrelevant in a cosmic way.
However, for me, I'm still the most important person.
