I want to start calling my parents different names?
I am thirteen and still call them "mommy" and "daddy". I want to start calling them "mom" and "dad", but I get uncomfortable whenever I try. They don't really have a problem with it I don't think, I've discussed it with them before.. How can I start? Thanks!
Some one asked the race, I'm german, mexican, irish, and slovak.. So it doesn't really matter. xD We're not religious and not really "cultural".. So yeah. I get the mexican from my dad, but I think I get the rest from my mom.. Not entirely sure though.

if you feel shy when you are outside when you call them mommy and daddy, then outside call them ma and pa or mom and dad, but you dont have to completely change that :)
