Yes - and thank you for mentioning the victims name, she always seems to be forgotten. Knox lied and tried to frame the token black guy - if she didn't actually kill Meredith she is guilty of contemp and some sort of cover up. I hope she is extradited and re-tried!

The evidence showed that Rudy Guede murdered Meredith.

Prosecutor Mignini believed that Amanda and her boss were involved with a satanic cult, and Meredith was a human sacrifice. Meredith was already dead when she was brought home, then Rudy stabbed her so she would bleed all over the floor, this way the cops would not think it was a human sacrifice.

If you study the case carefully,it appears that Mignini and the cops knew that Amanda would be their suspect and they kept trying to find evidence that she did it, they couldn't so they kept interrorgating her and slapped her around until they got her to sign a statement they typed, saying that she was there when Meredith was killed.

Believing that Amanda was part of the cult, the cops believed that they had to do whatever was nessasary to keep her behind bars.

Source(s): MUFdvr's answer The prosecution claimed that Meredith was killed during a sex game. These people here who agree with prosecutor Mignini, they do so because they play sex games that are life threatening. Sickos like them find that the danger makes sex exciting. So to them when they hear that someone was playing a deadly sex game and things got out of hand, they think it is something that could happen in real life, therefore they will take the prosecutors word for it, and believe Meredith played 1 more sex game than she should of. I don't play sex games, so I don't believe that would happen in real life. Prosecutor Mignini is crazy.

To be truthful, no I do not believe she did. I think the Italian prosecutor is biased against Americans and wanted to make the poor girl an example of his hatred toward America and Americans. I also feel perhaps America should go after him and attempt to send him to prison. That would serve him right!

Yes. I've always believed she killed Meredith. I also believe Amanda is a sociopath who has no feelings, or empathy for anyone. Look how she acted after Meredith's death. No sadness, doing cartwheels. She got away with murder.

She was involved up to her...well past her crotch almost. Not much gets by that crotch.

She will probably give demos at her sex club teaching the hump and stab to newbies.

No. There is no real evidence against her. The reason she blamed someone else is because the Italian police illegally interrogated her for many hours and didn't allow her a lawyer. She was slapped on the back of the head. The police told her that she was going to prison for a very long time if she didn't tell them what they wanted to hear. Amanda was told that her boss, Patrick Lumumba was the man that attacked Meredith. She did not give Patrick's name to the police. His name was suggested to her. After hours of abuse she finally broke down and gave the police the statement they wanted. If this type of interrogation had happened in the US the case would have been thrown out, and this is why her conviction was overturned.

All of the evidence at the crime scene pointed to one person, Rudy Guede. He later told a cellmate that Amanda was not involved in the murder.

Of course she did. How she got away with it without showing a bit of grief or remorse is a testiment to how money, media and the justice system works.
