vanilla frosting recipe that's easy to spread?
I need a frosting recipe that's easy to spread. I made a batch of frosting yesterday that was way to think, and wouldn't spread easily.

Stick it in the microwave for about 5 seconds (depending on the amount you have and the container). You have to do that with every frosting, even the store-bought (Unless it's whipped storebought).

EASY VANILLA FROSTING
1/3 c. soft butter
3 c. confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
About 2 tbsp. milk
Blend butter and sugar. Stir in vanilla and milk. Beat until frosting is smooth and of spreading consistency.

4 ounces unsalted butter (room temperature)
4 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix all ingredients together, refrigerate after frosting.
