How fast is a body going when it hits bottom falling from 120 feet?
no air resistance. What equation do you use? How do you convert that from ft/sec to miles/hr. Thank you.

If the position function is p(s) in respect to seconds, find the positive value for s where p(s) = 0. Taking this s, find p'(s). This is the speed at which the body hits the bottom.
x (ft/sec) * (1 miles / 5280 ft) * (60 sec / 1 min) * (60 min / 1 hr) = y miles/hr.
