How does Jesus saying to Peter, "Your my rock" give humans the right to create a heirarchy stricter than the pharisee's, where the pope holds absolute authority over the scriptures, can change beliefs and traditions, is treated as infallible, is served and waited on, and wears robes worth millions.

How do you possibly get that from "Your the rock peter."

    I think it's a toss-up between:

"why do Catholics pray to Mary?",

    and,

    "Why do Catholics worship idols?".
