How do I draw the Mark of Cain?
In English class we read the Bible story of Cain and Abel. For homework our teacher told us to draw the Mark of Cain. She didn't give us any direction and I have no I idea what she wants. Anyone know what I'm suppose to draw?

The Mark of Cain is a metaphor. In Genesis 4 Cain kills his brother Abel, so God punishes him by exiling him from his home. Cain protests, saying he will be killed by anyone who finds him. So the Bible says that "then the LORD put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him". Biblical scholars have not come to a consensus on what this mark is, so it's up to your imagination to think of one. It might be a mark like a tattoo, it might be an affliction or disease like leprosy, it could even be an item of clothing, talisman or other object.
