Betta fish at bottom of tank?

He's still alive. He swims and then sits at a different part of the tank every now and then. Is he ok? I used to have a leaf bed for him and he would rest there. He also rests on the heater. Is this normal or is her sick??? Please answer.

That's normal, bettas like to rest. Have fat leafed plants for him to lay on. If he does it too often, that could be a problem. That means that he is not healthy.

It is normal BUT she should be active the same amount of time! Its hard to tell just from your description but do you play with the fish or just have it there for looks? Beta are very active fish that love attention and will even perform tricks for there owners!
