Bacteria gnawing on tissue exhale

Filling my skull with pink helium

Skin is unfurling and eyes are billowing

Toes numb as my roots release

Oxygen is filling my lungs with oil

To meet the water in my veins

Breath snagging as I part with my shadow

I giggle as he waves goodbye

Tunneling vision is pixellating

With starbursts of fire and ice

Limbs become lost in a haystack of needles

And limply I drift with the clouds..

Far, far beyond the vanilla cloud castles

I'm lost in the velvet black folds

My bones are bending --I don't feel a thing!

--And, laughing I swallow a star

Fracturing shockwave of light changes the

Marrow of bone into sand

Crumbling, my purpose slips out as a whisper:

"To dwell between negative spaces"
