If you found out that your wife is pregnant, would that be grounds for a marriage?
Today, I found out in the headlines thorough multiple press agencies where a HK based former couple; a Property Tycoon (ex-husband) and a Solicitor (ex-wife) have just had a verdict from the court about the settlement and payments, in which the ex-wife has won.
The marriage collapsed as a result of the Solicitor's pregnancy and her husband demanded abortion, but she declined her husband's request. Since the baby was born (a girl, now 3 years old), the father has only seen her twice. This example is a real sorry excuse for a father, having only seen his child twice in 3 years.
If you found out that your wife is newly pregnant with your baby (she's within the first 12 weeks) and you demanded abortion, yet your wife opposes; would this cause you to terminate your relationship with your wife along with your unborn child?
This is a question for the guys.
The women can answer this too.
What I meant to say, would that be grounds to terminate a marriage.

That would depend on the agreement met before the pregnancy.
That is to say if the couple agreed " no kids " ,, " no pregnancy " and that contraception would be used and unintended pregnancy aborted and the wife refused , it then would be her that breached the contract.
Under such circumstances it would not at all be unreasonable to file for divorce.

No, this is a sorry excuse for a woman exploiting the life of a child for the purposes of extortion.
The ethical process is no child is brought into the world unless both parent's want it.
If she chooses to do otherwise, she is choosing to act unethically (evilly).
(Legalized abortion is the single greatest factor for the reduction in crime, violent crime including rape, in the modern era.)
And yes, if my wife gets pregnant again I am leaving her.
You have a responsibility to control when and if you procreate.

when I told the guy I was seeing that I was pregnant he just left. He said he couldn't do it. I'm 12 weeks now.
What do guys think really. Women don't get a say so anyway, so is this a question directed towards men?

I think you want your question to be would that be grounds to end the marriage, or would that be grounds for a divorce....but your question states if you found out your wife is pregnant would you marry her....which doesn't make any sense.
