So how do I set my facebook accout so that when people who are not my friends look on my profile do not see the list of who I am friends with?

click Edit profile on your profile, upper right hand corner
click Friends and Family, left hand side
3rd column down, it will say Friends, with an edit tab to the right of it (it will probably be a small picture and say friends when you hover over it)
Click the edit tab, then click "Only me" in the drop down bar.
Scroll down - Save Changes

go to Edit Profile Then on the left go to Friends and Family then chang the public to only me

Then on the right side of "Friends:" click on the icon and choose "Only Me".
