Do you think monarchy should be restored in Romania?

    A constitutional monarchy should be restored in Romania if (and only if) this is what the majority of the citizens of Romania want. In other words, Romania would need to hold a referendum.

    If the Romanian people want to have their Royal family back ,why ever not ?

    I do not think it will happen ,it's got far too much on it's hands to start rebuilding a Monarchy ,Romania is in a "pickle" like the rest of us in Europe .

    i am not much of a fan of monarchy, because it is mostly luck of the draw. it should stick to its current government ( democratic parliamentary)

    That would be a splendid idea, old chap. One imagines that Her Majesty The Queen would be entitled to the position. You know, that country has got some potential if it were ruled properly. One quite fancies the idea of becoming Baron of Bucharest.
