Can Too Much Vitamin D Cause Itchy Skin?
- Anonymous5 years ago
I have had some severe burns in my life being both very fair skinned and having very sensitive skin. I have tried the vinegar and all kinds off creams, including Sarna. Most of the creams burned more than relieve the itching, some, like Calamine, made the itching seem more intense. The quickest releif I have gotten was from simply standing under the shower. Obviously it's not a long term solution so I combine that with filling the tub with an oatmeal bath formula and epsin's salt (spell?) from CVS and soak for hours. The constant touching of skin to water would sooth the itching while the medicated formula heals the skin and stops the itching from coming back. I have also had luck taking a multi vitamin as the itching seemed to start and it didn't get anywhere near as bad.
