Good workout schedule for running?

So i'm trying to improve my mile time and get in shape to do track this coming spring. I know that running will definitely help me improve my mile time.I'm trying to work on endurance and speed. I got about 2 months to work on this.

I run

fridays(2-3 miles),

saturdays(1-2 miles),

sundays (outdoor run-not too long- or 2-3 miles),

and a little on Mondays (like a mile).

Rest on tuesdays and thursdays. - (or a little jog not even a mile)

I also try to run on wednesdays (2-3 miles).

do you think thats a good workout schedule?

wednesdays-tuesdays-thursdays : cant always run.. just dding that

    That sounds like an excellent schedule you made up to help condition! I am also conditioning for track this spring. Try to incorporate 5 to 6, 20 second sprints during your run. It'll help increase your speed a lot!
