Hi I am concerned about this health issue my doctor said I have.?
Hi you guys, I am 15 and have been diagnosed by an ultrasound that I have a Varicocele in my testicle? It is an abnormal enlargement of the vein that is in the scrotum draining the testicles. The testicular blood vessels originate in the abdomen and course down through the inguinal canal as part of the spermatic cord on their way to the testis. I am very scared because I may need surgery to cure this, and I can become sterile from this. Is this something be worried about? And how is this treated in men my age? My parents say that I will be alright, but I'm freaking out, thinking the worst. Apparently this is most frequent in men 15-30, and my doctor caught this in time. But I don't have any idea about this. PLEASE HELP ME!

Fifteen percent of men have a varicocele. The surgery is about 70 percent effective. If it is only on one side, even under the worst case scenario, you will still be fertile as one ball is all you need. You are so young the likelihood of long term problems is pretty rare.

i could discretely hand the receptionist a observe that tells the Dr to no longer communicate your sexual well being whilst your sister is interior the room with you and that i could write on the outdoors of the observe so the receptionist can see it "please provide this to the Dr till now he sees me" and make valuable she sees what you wrote on the outdoors of the observe and he or she would be in a position to take the observe back to him till now you notice him and he won't have the skill to debate something pertaining on your sexual well being with you whilst your sister is interior the room. That way they are in a position to place it on your record and you will no longer ought to tell them each and every time you the two bypass to the Dr. That way this is going to continuously be on your record and he won't overlook a telephone call (it is available with docs)

Why haven't you discussed all this with your doctor? He can explain what needs to be done, what should be done, what to expect, what not to expect - what you can expect if you don't have it done, etc.
Life is not always the way it's supposed to be. It's just the way it is.
The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.
