What foods do you associate with British cuisine?

My friends over there are always talking about lamb pie or soup or mushy peas.

And then there is the Guinness...

Already a lot of good ones, are we looking for non-irish? They are very similar.

Corned Beef, Roast meats (Sunday Roasts were common in England), Mashed Potatoes, Shepherds Pie, Fish and chips, Colcetta? (the mashed potatoes and cabbage mix), Haggis, Bangers AKA un-smoked sausages, Meat Pie, Sandwiches (A la the Earl of Sandwich is/was? actually a real freaking person), Tea, scones, crimpets,

They seem to eat a lot of carrots, cabbage, onions and maybe peas?

Cornish Pasties

Haggis

Christmas Goose

Fruitcake

Plum Pudding with Brandy Sauce

Scones

Clotted cream

Cheddar and Stilton cheese

Whiskey

Beer, porter, and ale

Fish and chips, tea, scones, biscuits, various soups, meat sandwiches (ham, turkey, beef...), and a lot of American foods. British food is really average, but the "stereotype" that British people are terrible cooks isn't true. At all.

OK, I loves me welsh rabbit.

Bangers and mash. Bacon butty. Leg of mutton. Cucumber sandwiches. Filet of sole.

Heavy and dreary.

Lots of take out curries.. Fish and chips with mushy peas..
