Help creating running exercise / diet plan?

Hello I am a 20 year old male trying to get into shape!

Currently it looks like mainly all my fat is built up on my thighs and butt. I am 5'4 and 130 pounds.

I am trying to shape a routine that will eliminate this from my body!

Will a 3 mile routine such as say walking 1 mile, then running/jogging 1 mile, then one final walking mile, get me into shape? I currently don't get to much exercise is this starting off too strong?

I also want to do this routine first thing every morning before meal.

I currently gain and lose a couple pounds day to day from binge eating it seems. While doing this routine I will vow to make water my drink of choice and cut back on any fast food.

Will one months time be enough to see an improvement?

Any other help?

    To answer your questions:

    YOU have to decide whether you think you're starting off too strong or too weak. If you feel like your work out is uncomfortable long and you're going to get bored of it quick, then change it up.

    In my opinion though, 3 miles is definitely a good start and you WILL start noticing changes after a month, probably less! But i have to tell you, your 2 miles walking, 1 mile jogging might not get you as far as you hope. Your best bet for weight loss is High Intensity Interval Training, which this article can explain for you!

    I definitely think before you run you should eat something quick. A banana would be perfect. Working out an empty stomach will make it harder to burn calories, and eating breakfast within the first 30 minutes of your day will boost your metabolism.

    Also remember that cutting out fast food or calorie-filled drinks isn't going to be the only thing to make you lose weight. Remember that you need to be giving your body the nutrients it needs to lose weight (protein, iron, and healthy fats like polyunsaturated, monounsaturated and omega-3) and that you are ALSO creating a calorie deficit. Burn more calories than you are consuming - keep a food journal to make sure you're staying on track. The internet can tell you how many calories you are eating!

    ollow this Plan:

    Eat 1500 calories a day, However eat 5 times a day every three hours. So 300 calories at each meal. This will lead to your stomach always digesting and working. It reduces binges and speed up your metabolism.

    Nutrition: Avoid Animal fats, Red meat, high fructose Corn syrup.

    Eat a lot of Veggies, proteins, and lesser amounts of carbs.

    Invest in a daily Vitamin and Omega 3's (fish Oil) take everyday.

    Last and most important. SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP.

    For exercise look into High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)most effective way to lost fat and quick.

    It involves raising and lowering your heart rate. Im too am 20 and a college baseball player so I had to lose like 20 pounds to be in my best physical condition. Doing nothing but HIIT I dropped like 1-2 pounds a day, but you have to be strict with your diet too.

    Example of HIIT. Treadmill: Sprint a min, walk a min, sprint a min, walk a min, and do this like 10 times.

    FOODS NOT TO EAT: red meats(steaks, beef) no fried foods stay away from grease. Try to eliminate as much starch as you can. Eliminate as much junk food as you can. try to stay away from white bread bc it breaks down into sugar in your body and turns into fat. If you can, eat wheat bread its healthier. Diet sodas are no good they have more sugar in them than regular sodas. Dont eat too much pork its not good for you.

    GOOD FOODS: make veggies your best friend and fresh fruit! Cabbage, collards, greenbeans, brocoli, carrots, celery, and when you eat dressing fat free or light dressing. As for MEATS: 99% fat free chicken, tuna, boiled shrimp, fish you can get protein from all those. If you eat eggs dont eat the yok just eat the egg white. Drink at least 3liters of water a day

    EXERCISES:

    *CARDIO*

    -Swimming

    -Dancing

    -Rope jumping

    -Jumping on trampoline

    -Treadmill walking/jogging/running

    -Kick boxing

    -Biking/cycling

    Also lift weights to tone and rebuild muscle!!
