Sounds like he's just not making a lasting impression on people. If he doesn't take the time to talk to people and refer to them by their name, chances are they're not going to remember him either.

I dont know your son so I cant tell but it sounds to me he is not being independent and on his own. Maybe he is too nice to people or maybe he brags about things, maybe he is considered weird for others and maybe he is too shy. It could be so many things but that's for you as his mother to know what the problem is. If you dont see it and neither does he then there is no improvement as of looking for the answer of a problem. You know your son and therefore you should know why people do not like him. I knew immediately why my son was having trouble at school with other kids and its because he is extremely nice and the world is cruel, so I had to show him the good and the bad in order to gain respect and survive with them animals out there who dont care.

maybe he still has mummy fighting his battle for him............if the same person asked me everyday what was my name, I would after a short while point out it was STILL the same name I told her yesterday...............
ANd unless you are holding his hand to gym you do NOT know they are treating the person behind him any better or with more respect.
