want an honest answer,no cops please, because the item has to do with what two officers did, illegal or not?
In this state of iowa,an accident has happened, the two acting officers on the scene, each, park there cars on the wrong side of the road facing traffic at the bottom of a hill. It's 400 feet to the top of the hill, there at the base of the hill, facing on coming traffic,my car that was hit is in my private driveway parked with the rear end dinged, the other guy is down the road another 120 feet past my driveway.he's over to the right on the right side of the gravel road, the two squad cars show up to the scene, and pull right over on the wrong side of the road, facing the wrong way.The deputy is a guy that i had do the arrest on me 6.5 years earlier, there was no evidence,no proof, nothing, but the deputy took the word that i was causing trouble for this guy who is a convicted drug dealer,After delay, after delay ,after delay,by the county prosecutor,2.5 years later we get the trail i've been waiting for all this time.It goes to trial, the plaintiff gets on the stand, gives his whole b.s.story,my lawyer takes him back through his testimony, and it changes in how he tells it,my lawyer goes back over it again, the guy changes the whole story again, and again. The lawyer puts the deputy on the stand,he takes his story and shreds it apart,it is gone through step by step on how the officer completely blowed the entire investigation.Long story short. The guy used his own rifle to shoot a hole in his camper. The officer never even asked him if he owned any fire arms. But back to now,he's five seconds into my statement,i'[m being truth-full i said,i was pulled over to my mailbox getting my mail out of my mailbox from my car,He interuptes, you were on the wrong side of the road, that's illegal, you broke the law,a vehicle no matter who you are you can't do that.so he wrote me up as being at fault. Now i'm looking at there vehicles that are doing the same thing, double standered time?

I THINK what you are trying to say is...
The cop that said the accident was the cop from years ago and remembered you.
YOU think that cop said you were at fault for the accident because of the past issue.
Am I right?
If so, I seriously doubt the officer said you were at fault for the accident because of the past.
You can go to court and fight it. But once a cop writes out the report, that's what the insurance company goes by.
And it is not illegal for the cops to be parked on the wrong side of the road.
So don't know, but that's what I got from your note.

I would really love to answer this question if I could understand what you were saying but you put so much information into it and continually go back and forth between ideas and the one time your telling us the story of an accident and then wham a gun comes into the story and then you go back to something about how cars are parked and how you were arrested but it was many years ago and the cop was parked on the wrong side of the road but you didn't do anything get arrested and then there was this drug dealer who liked to sell drugs but the prosecutor finally gets you to court like what 2.5 years after the other cops were parked at the bottom of the hill but wait these are the same cops that you had do the arrest on you and your attorney is on the trail.
How is anyone supposed to intelligently answer your question?

So you just wrote a long paragraph that could have been narrowed down to about three short sentences. Your past trial has nothing to do with what you just wrote here.
To answer your question, what they did was not illegal. They were responding to an emergency and could park on the wrong side of the road if need be. You cannot however and were at fault if you were stopped in the road and/or facing the wrong way.
Even if what they did was illegal, it wouldn't make a difference. Two wrongs don't make it right. You're free to file a complaint with the internal affairs department if you'd like.

What happened in the past is entirely irrelevant to this instance. You pulled up on the wrong side of the road, and were involved in a collision. That makes you at fault. The police officers also pulled up facing the wrong way. By law, they can violate the provisions of the vehicle code when in performance of their duties. When responding to accidents, they can speed, or go through red lights, or even go the wrong way down a one way street. To catch speeders, the can sit off the side of the highway with their lights off. They can ride up an alley with there lights off at 3 AM to sneak up on a Burglar.
What applies to YOU and YOUR by law DOES NOT APPLY to a Police vehicle. Otherwise, they could never get to emergencies or catch bad guys.

After that BS story, you're still at fault in the accident. You cannot cross over into oncoming traffic.

Who cares how many feet? You leap from some accident to a bullet hole in a camper. Are you too loaded to stick to one subject?
By the way, what was your question?

Try again when you can figure out what you THINK you are asking. The ONLY thing clear from your mass of words is that you didn't have ONE coherent thought while typing it.

Pigz can do whatever they want & get away w\ it.
You may figure this out someday.
