Because they're hott . Think about 2 girls . One of them is stunning & has physical perfection , and looks good even on her worst days . The other has serious talent and a great personality , but is butt ugly . Which one would YOU rather date ?

Think of the ugly but funny/talented people as the guy/girl that provides the comic relief in a movie . They're the ones who make the movie good but the main focus is still only on the hot girl . It's just the way society & human nature works . Unfair but true

Example... Kim K has done NOTHING to earn her fame BUT Kim K hooks up with athletes and singers...

I think there's some psychology behind it "what is beautiful is good." Also biology. Remember humans are animals (just highly evolved and sophisticated) we are looking for mates. I think the ones that are "hot" usually look healthy to men... for making babies (in the longrun. so maybe were always looking for a healthy person to do that with maby..) you know idk that's just what i think
