Laptop problems HELP! D:?

After doing the things those two people told me it's still there, I figure go into more detail and I'll get more answers. I run 64-bit Windows 7 on an acer laptop. The virus pops up ONLY when I log into a user account but not my admin account. It pops up randomly, usually in a minute after I cancel the process and while it is active it pops up with random security checks that are obviously fake, I can't search the internet because I am always redirected to some stupid site and it doesn't let me use defrag or any other programs, or download them for that matter.

I think you should download anti-malware with other computer to a usb-stick. After you have anti-malware on your usb-stick, attach it to your laptop and it will delete the virus and all the other bad programs too. This helped me when i had same kind of problem. Hope ot helps you too :)

What is the name of the bug that has infested your laptop ?

What is the model number of the laptop ?

What Internet security Programs are installed on the laptop ?

Do you have and did you create the Windows 7 recovery disc set for the laptop ?

Keep the administrator account log into it delete the user account and create a new user account.

Does the pop up come up only when you open the browser, if it does go to add/remove programs remove the browser and then re download it from Microsoft.

Best help you will get with out your answering the above questions.

Well my computer wouldnt even turn on into normal mode from a virus, but im sure i can fix your problem... Well, personally this is what you should do

    1. While the laptop is on take out the battery or turn it on and press F1 Quickly or whatever button it says on the bottom

    2. Select start in safe mode

    3. Go to your start menu and search backup, click on backup and restore, click on the lowest date you see by click the check at the bottom that says show more dates.

    4. It may take a while but it is worth it...

And anything you downloaded after that date will be deleted, id suggest you dont download it again, unless you know it is safe..

Source(s): I went on my computer, did the instructions above... Myself figured it out.

Download Maleware Bytes and run the program

Also download and run Microsoft Security Essentials

if necessary Hijackthis has saved me before in situations like this

If you can't download them from the infected computer, get a flash drive and install the programs on that from a friends computer

Yes you have a malware problem, which has "hijacked" your Internet search.Dwight is right-on.

Malwarebyte is the way to go.Login as Admin, and download the program. IF you are using internet Explorer,do yourself a favor in the future, and download Firefox too. Much safer.

It sounds like you have some infections. Try this! Reboot the laptop and hit F8 before windows loads and go into safe mode. Open a browswer and go to---http://www.eset.eu/eset-online-scanner. Try to run a scan on your c drive and clean it. If that does not work you will need to use a boot disk to disinfect your drive. Hope that helps!...
