Assuming you are using MS Windows: Download ccleaner http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ which will do what you ask, but not temporarily. The emptied cache, temp files and cookies will fill up again depending on you using the internet. So rerun ccleaner each time your computer becomes bloated!

Open up the program you use to browse the internet.

Go into Options and somewhere there, you will see something that says, "Clear temporary history"

or "clear cache" or "cookies" or any combination of that.

Unless I know what program you use, I can't give you a step-by-step.

To access Temporary Internet files folder in Windows Vista do the following steps: Open a windows explorer (not Internet Explorer), click Tools -> Folder Options -> View -> Select Show hidden files and folders Uncheck Hide protected operating system files -> Click Yes -> Click Apply. In the address path write the following(Make sure to add your username): C:\Users\<YOUR USER NAME>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Te... Internet Files\Low\Content.IE5 You should now be able to see the files.

Use CCleaner, here is a direct link to download page at the official site: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard

Its completely free and safe. (on the download page there are paid versions, but all it is, is paid priority support, which is really unneeded. the program is exactly the same).
