I'm painting my road bike next week, & I can't pick between my two favorite albums' covers to paint it after?

It takes more than a six pack and a weekend to do what you want so I hope you have put aside at least a couple of weeks to complete the job.

When it comes to complex paint work, preparation is absolutely everything. Paint doesn't fill in scratches- even little ones- and dry but uncured paint is often where the amateur painter fails. By handling an uncured paint job the bond fails (even if you can't physically see it) and then the paint job goes bad in a very short period of time.

If you are airbrushing you'll also have to have a solid color background (usually white- think of a sheet of paper) or the thin coats of paint won't cover well.

I like the second one.

I'm a huge QUEST fan but the other one would look better on a road bike to me. Did you use the name Tricky as in Tricky the trip hop artist? If so, you have good taste in music. BTW, my main road bike is a matte black Felt FA with white and red letter. My race bike is a Felt F1 Sprint in Garmin Team colors, and my rainy day road bike is a white Specialized Allez with black and grey lettering. The bike I use to tow my kid's Burley trailer is a cranberry 2004 Fuji Club LE with black and white accents and lettering.
