Fritos with Bacon Horseradish dip?

Christmas is on the way.

Update:

Haven't had a good cheese log in a while.

I find finger food spiritually uplifting, but am not averse to using a fork.

It's really all about the people, isnt it?

Update 2:

I like the Sharpies fine point markers, but I'm afraid that their liquid graphite pencil is not quite ready for prime time.

Update 3:

I am tempted to say that recipe "Looks Delish", but I don't want to anger RR by ripping off her catchphrase.

But thank you for finding and sharing that. It looks like it will taste fantastic.

Update 4:

Frito Pie is Awesome!

I've never thought of it as a holiday dish before, but in this context it seems perfect.

OK, heres the one I use from Kraft: I'm sorry, but the link wouldn't work. If you need to see the web site, look here:www.kraftrecipes.com/.../bacon-horseradish-dip-52463...

As you can see, it cut off and I couldn't bring the rest up, but at least I had the recipe on file.

So credit Kraft Foods, and enjoy!

    What You Need

1 container (16 oz.) BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

1 pkg. (2.8 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Bacon Pieces

    1 Tbsp.Worcestershire sauce

    1 Tbsp. KRAFT Prepared Horseradish

    1/2 tsp.hot pepper sauce

    1/8 tsp. garlic powder

    RITZ Crackers

    Make It

MIX all ingredients except crackers until well blended; cover.

REFRIGERATE several hours or until chilled.

    SERVE with the crackers.

    Kraft Kitchens Tips

    Special Extra

hollow out cherry tomatoes and fill with dip for a deliciously different appetizer.

    Substitute

Serve with chips or assorted cut-up vegetables.

    Frito Pie is better!

    1. Spray Pam in a casserole dish & preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    2. Place a layer of Fritos in dish. Spread some canned Hormel Chili w/ Beans over Fritos. Sprinkle shredded sharp cheddar over the top. Repeat until all Fritos, Chili, and Cheese are layered.

    3. Place, uncovered, in oven. Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and starting to bubble. Serve hot.

That's not a question, but in my opinion it sounds like a colorful combination.
