What's going on with my hair? Can't get it clean and lots of dandruff... Help!?

I have mid-back length hair that's really fine. I normally consider it to be pretty healthy (not many split ends, not much breakage, etc.). I don't use ANY hair products. I don't use a curling iron/straightener. I blow dry it maybe once every two weeks. And I use a natural shampoo and conditioner.

I've always had to wash my hair pretty much everyday. Sometimes I could get away with every other day. It gets dirty looking pretty quickly so it's just something I did. I used to have a problem with dandruff but the past year it's been pretty much gone.

The past month my hair has been completely ridiculous! It gets dirty looking a few hours after I wash it. It's like I can't get my hair clean. And I have to shampoo it AT LEAST twice in the shower. Just shampooing once still leaves it feeling oily. And ha, forget washing it every other day. It's horrible looking! And there's so much dandruff.

I hadn't changed shampoo/conditioner, so I don't know why my hair started doing this. And I tried switching, and it made it worse.

Help! What's going on with my hair and how can I fix it??

Update:

There's no soreness/redness on my scalp, while washing my hair or any other time. And I don't think I have a skin condition? There's no other signs...

It could be the weather. Because the weather is changing, hair can change for the better or worse. Humidity makes hair dry, big, and puffy; so I would assume that winter makes hair oily. If you want to use a good shampoo/conditioner that works for all hair types, try WEN by Chaz Dean (I think that's his name.)

Anyways, WEN is a shampoo and conditioner combined; it's natural, too. It leaves hair with a soft, smooth texture and a clean scalp. It is pricey and you have to order it online, but believe me- It actually works. I'm not a fan of the infomercials, but if you're looking to buy WEN, try watching the infomercial.

You might also want to try a leave-in conditioner. It leaves hair clean and moisturized and soft. Honestly, I'm no hair doctor and I don't have the same kind of hair as you. However, I have dealt with my hair for years and WEN and leave-in conditioners definitely works for me, and I know WEN works with any hair type. Hope you figure out the problem! :)

i have the same problem like you don't wash your hair everyday that's bad for your hair wash it every other day for example wash it today then not tomorrow then again the other day wash it again so wash it every 1 day. Use nizorelle the silver package and not nizoral. After your condition improved with this nizorelle shampoo. Use Rosemary oil twice a week , i understand your hair is oily but this oil is different then other ones it wont make your hair stick together after washing. And use head and shoulders eucalyptus then your dandruff will go it worked for me , nothing else worked for me i even went to the pharmacy and nothing, but everyone is different it might help me but it might not for you. Or if you want to try the simple way go to the pharmacy and get selsun the purple one that's for greasy hair dandruff. And use Rosemary oil search online about Rosemary oil benefits for hair .

Source(s): AND DON'T USE ANY CONDIITONER ON YOUR SCALP IT WIL LMAKE IT WORSE PUT THE CONDITIONARE ON YOUR ENDS BUT NOT IN THE SCALP.

This sounds like a skin condition, and your hairs appearance is a symptom. If you have so much dandruff, you might want to see if there is any redness in your scalp. Is your scalp sensitive or sore when you shampoo? In any event, you need to speak to a dermatologist.
