You must be an hour behind me, it's 8:55 here. Maybe I'll go see what they're doing later. Sounds interesting.
I did watch a show on the science channel a few months ago called "Curiousity" because the theme for that episode was "Did God Create the Universe?" I was curious to see what they had to say, so I watched it, and it turned out that Stephen Hawking was the host. I literally laughed at the end when they made their verdict: God does not exist because there would have been no time for God before the big bang. Lol that's probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Of course, they assumed that the big bang was true.
Pretty ironic, though, that the same channel had aired two programs about the Bible (one about Moses and one about Sodom) that morning.

Oh my goodness this show is so freaking biases it hurts for me too watch this... It amazes me that they had absolutely no one to even counter act any of their arguments.. Not one credible scientific person was even asked to be on the show I bet ( well maybe people were asked and quickly declined after hearing what the show was going to be about) The history channel just lost major points in my book for airing such a infantile and ridiculous show... I ask one question regarding the power of spiritual healing.. When was the last time anybody heard of an amputee getting a limb back.. Whats up with that.. God don't like amputees?

Watching it, so far not all of it is new, the Jewish priesthood gene has long been know in Ethiopia.
The God gene has been discussed for a while now.
The proving of the parting of the Red sea as scientifically possible is fairly new. But its also fairly commonly understood that Red sea was a mistranslation and that it should read Reed sea.
Like the definition of Miracle as phenomena occurring when it was needed. Similar to description of synchronicity.

Thank you for posting this! It will be on in 30 minutes and I will be watching to see what they have to say! I'm sure the documentary will be as usual questioning each item by presenting alternative reasonings for each point discussed.
I mean... for them to prove God without any doubt would prove there was a hell... and of course, WE CAN'T HAVE THAT, CAN WE? :)

No I'm not planning on watching. I don't care for secular t.v. channels which tries to do stuff on Religion or proving the Bible, God etc. Because of the reason mentioned above, they always try to explain everything that happened miracles etc. from a scientific standpoint which I find annoying.

Is it going to be on before or after the show about how ancient aliens built the pyramids? I think it makes an awesome double feature.

No. The title itself is an argumentum ad ignorantiam. (Like which god?) If Markit Hassan says starts asking questions about it, I will watch it online.
