How do you get work experience?????

I am moving to SF in two weeks with my fiance. My fiance has a good job so we can live off her salary some and we found an affordable place to stay in San Leandro. I am HIGHLY educated, two masters degrees one in Human Resources and the other in Management, but lacking work in HR which is my goal. Every position I see requires a number of years in HR to be considered for the job. My questions are: How the hell do you get experience if every job requires a number of years of experience???? Am I going to have to be an extremely overeducated employee at McDonald's?

    Here are some tips:

    1) Look for seasonal work, internships and volunteer work, as these can often lead to part time or full time work.

    2) Sign up with a few temp services in your area so they can help you find work.

    3) Don't go it alone: Get more help from job / career services sites like one linked below. They offer resume and cover letter help, job interviewing tips, online job search tools and more. Have someone quiz you on the top 5 interview questions asked (they are on the site), and don't worry about experience. Your education counts as experience, too, for some, so you have some under your belt.

    4) Research how to start and grow a business with the skills you already have. You could consult, for starters, working from home online. There are tons of library book on this topic and Entrepreneur sites / magazines, etc. Start on a shoestring budget even just part time.

Keep actively pursuing the above, doing something every day, and be positive. OK, go get'em!
