  • Will a 4.0 liter catalytic converter fit on a 4.6 liter engine mustang?

Will a catalytic converter used on a 4.0 liter V6 fit on a 4.6 liter V8 2007 mustang? They look identical. I am trying to find affordable solutions for replacing my cats on 2007 mustang in California. There are no approved after market parts for my particular model, unfortunately.

  • Drinking too much or not?

I drink about a case of beer or so a day- have for years, but my neighbor told me today (who drinks about half of that daily) that I was drinking way too much. I feel fine, good heath overall except a minor back injury.

No one else has ever told me they were concerned, so it kind of threw me off. Should I switch to wine or something? Realistically, I'm not going to stop drinking, so don't bother preaching. Just give me you two pennies.

I'm 53 yrs old, smoker (trying to quit), good health otherwise.

  • Low back pain and down leg, sciatica?

I am a 28 yr old male, healthy (otherwise), and athletic. When I stand or walk for more than a few minutes, I get terrible dull achy pain in a very small localized area in my lower back and and runs down my right buttock and hamstring feeling like muscle spasms. I have had this for about 3 weeks now and it is really getting annoying. No injuries that I can recall.

I just started going to a chiropractor, so I am hoping this will bring relief.

I have no health insurance yet, so specialists and MRI's are out of the question for now. Yoga has not helped, sitting is the only thing that brings relief except for ibuprofen.

Anyone have similar experiences and can share what helped for them? Thanks!

  • Too much drinking everyday?

I just turned 84 over the weekend and had quite a party. However one of my grandsons told me that he's never seen an "old" guy put away so much booze in his life. I drink everyday, have since I was in my 20's and living large then. I usually have a few cocktails around noon, High balls, and then lager beer throughout the day. AT night I make a nice stiff Whiskey and soda before I call it a night. I don't have any majoir health problems, knock on wood, but I do find people joking with me all the time about being an old boozer. I do smoke, have since the age of 8 but I'm using chantix now to stop, my doctor said he would stop pestering me about drinking too much as long as I quit smoking. What do you think?

  • Ativan and Inderal (beta blocker)?

I have a plane flight coming up and I get bad panic attacks. My doc gave me the beta blocker (propranolol) and a benzo (Ativan) to take as needed for panic attacks. He said they are ok to take together, but I just want to know if any of you have any experience with it. I'm nervous with taking meds.

The beta blocker is for my HR which gets really high during my panic attacks and is uncomfortable to say the least. The Ativan is for the psychological symptoms. Should I take the beta blocker and hold on to the Ativan just in case, or vice versa, or just take them both before the plane trip? I can't decide.

  • Omeprazole (Prilosec) and Anxiety?

I've been taking prilosec for a little over a year now due to a hiatal hernia I have. I've had bouts of anxiety come and go and didn't relate it much to the drug. However, a few weeks ago I had a series a very bad panic attacks and now I have terrible generalized anxiety for no apparent reason. I ran out of prilosec and stopped taking it for a few days and noticed my anxiety level went down. I bought more, started taking it again and bam! panic! Does anyone else have experience with this?

  • Always feel my heartbeat, anxiety?

I know it is anxiety, I've had every physical test under the sun and nothing abnormal is found. I am always aware of my heartbeat and take my pulse like 100 times a day, very OCD. I worry a lot about heart health and have panic attacks a few times a week because I think I am having an arrhythmia every time I feel my HR change. I'm 28, good health, don't smoke, drink socially.

Is there any way to desensitize myself so I stop feeling my heartbeat all the time and wanting to check it? Anyone have experienced this personally?

  • How do you delete archived group wall posts on Facebook?

I started this group a long time ago and wish I could delete it because it shows up under google search with my name. It's just too much info for some random person to see if they google my name. I tried to contact facebook, but they are no help. Are there any other outlets I could use to at least hide it from a google search? For whatever reason, facebook will not let me delete the archived group, change it, or even delete MY OWN wall posts on it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  • How do you get work experience?????

I am moving to SF in two weeks with my fiance. My fiance has a good job so we can live off her salary some and we found an affordable place to stay in San Leandro. I am HIGHLY educated, two masters degrees one in Human Resources and the other in Management, but lacking work in HR which is my goal. Every position I see requires a number of years in HR to be considered for the job. My questions are: How the hell do you get experience if every job requires a number of years of experience???? Am I going to have to be an extremely overeducated employee at McDonald's?

  • Where should I start? HR advice?

I just got a Masters in Human Resources and I need to get some experience. I'm 27, so I really can't do the unpaid internship thing, I have bills to pay but I am humble, I'll take what I can get. What are the types of positions I should be looking for and applying to?

  • Moving to SF, Freaking out some?

My fiance got a transfer to SF from the east coast and so we are moving there very soon. I'm freaking out about money, jobs, moving, etc. We are planning to get an apartment in San Leandro which has a BART station and an easy commute. I am 27 and just finished grad school for human resources so I suppose now is the best time as any to embark on something new. How is the job market out there? In particular, How is the HR field? She has a job and so we can pay bills but we are still gonna be counting our pennies I'm sure until I find something. I just don't want it to take me 6 months.

I just got done with grad school for HR, I'm 27, so I guess now is as good of time as any but I just need some advice to reinforce myself. Any help along the criteria I mentioned would be much appreciated. Gracias.

  • How do you deal with emotions?

That may sound like a stupid question but I honestly have no idea how to deal with emotions. I hate them. I wish I could turn them off and feel nothing, everything would be so much easier. Sometimes I feel like I actually can do this, but because I want to have a heart and have meaningful relationships, I try to get "in touch with my feelings". But the truth is, I hate trying to think about how I feel and what the root cause of my emotions are (therapists have told me this is what you have to do). I honestly don't care about why I feel a certain way, it's like trying to figure out a never-ending algebra equation. I just want to turn them off and be a robot. Punch in and punch out, **** the world. HAHA tell me how many years of therapy I need..geez

  • What happened to Gary, IN?

I was driving to Chicago to visit some fam and had to make a detour through Gary. What I saw I have never seen in my life and I grew up in Oakland East Side, too! As soon as I got off the freeway and hit the downtown road, nearly every building was abandoned and there was a nasty stench in the air. There were a few people standing on the street corners looking real sketch and I they were holding pistols and waving them around like it was a normal thing to do. People walked past them and didn't even flinch about it. As a passed a couple of cars parked on the road, they all had their windows busted out, I'm assuming they were stolen. As I got closer to get back on the expressway, there were several burned out buildings and a police car that looked like it had been stripped. This place is worse than the shanty towns of a third world country. I have seen my share of crime and bad neighborhoods all over the country and in my hometown of Oakland. This, however, was something I have never seen.

I'm just tired of not having a sex life it's frusterating. I'm dating someone new but can't seem to make it happen. I tried Viagra and cialis but nothing works. Any suggestions? • Have this experience on cuspid?

I started taking cialis for performance anxiety and took my usual ten mg dose. About an hour later I went for a jog and got an erection while jogging. It was ridiculous, it was like trying to run with a broomstick stuck in my pants. Is this a normal side effect? Also it doesn't do crap when I need it to.

I had a date last night and was completely not in the mood as usual. Any suggestions? I'm 29 in good health don't smoke

  • DO I drink too much or what?

I'm 74 years old and have been a fairly heavy drinker most of my life. Since retirement, I drink daily , usually a couple of gin and tonics in the morning and beer throughout the day (4-5). At night, I like to top it all off with some a couple of glasses of blended scotch. Aside from occasional indigestion, I feel okay though my doctor thinks I'm nuts to be drinking so much at my age. I quit smoking, eat health, and exercise with long walks (usually to the pub on the corner, it's about 4 miles there and back). What do you think?
