Ron paul supporters, what do you think he needs to win?
I'm just wondering how do you think he can win?
I just don't see it happening. I am not trying to be a troll just curious.

hmm well he is only 1% behind Newt Gingrich among Repbulicans. And he is way ahead among democrats and independents. In Iowa they have open primaries meaning anyone can vote.

Votes and he's got mine. Check out todays numbers
Gingrich 22% - Paul 21% - Romney 16% (Iowa)
"Against Paul, 42 percent of registered voters in Iowa support Obama and the same number — 43 percent — support Paul. Paul’s popularity among independents could be a crucial advantage. Paul leads Obama 42 percent to 35 percent among independent voters, according to the poll, and he also attracts 15% of Iowa’s Democrats. Not to mention that 16 percent of voters were undecided."

I agree with the above poster. A win in Iowa would build up momentum and will force the media to pay attention (more, I already know they pay some attention) which will help spread his message. I'm confident that after people hear his message and myths are dispelled, Paul will gain a massive following and take both the GOP nomination and the presidency.

Ron Paul has no desire to win. He is in it for the money he makes with his campaign contributions. He likes to get on his soap box and make half baked and half thought out ideas, then collect money and not seriously campaign. If he was serious he could have won in the past.

If he wins Iowa or finishes second there is a good chance momentum will build. If he doesn't get the nomination I will be forced to vote 3rd party or Obama. I wouldn't vote Gingrich or Romney if my life depended on it.

He needs my vote and I am giving it to him. Also I am going to donate more money and pay for brochures to be sent out.
